- Why aren't the Mystery Quiltaway Weekend being held at the Gap in the Hills Guest House or the Evergreen Guest House?
- We spent a year and a half in the guest houses but we kept searching for a suitable B&B. Stoltzfus Bed and Breakfast is more than suitable! You are going to love it as much as we do.
- Why aren't the Mystery Quiltaway Weekend being held at the Blue Ball Bed and Breakfast?
- The Blue Ball has been sold and is no longer a Bed and Breakfast.
- Will I have to share a bed?
- No, we have provided twin beds and frames to supplement the B&B's beds. Our B&B hosts will set these up when we are coming. You never need to share a bed at M&J's Quiltaways!
- I don't have a portable sewing machine; can I still come to the Quiltaway Mystery Quilt Getaway?
- Yes, let us know on the registration form. We have a limited number of loaner machines. We will make these available first come first served.
- Can I come with my friends?
- Yes, we can accommodate up to 12 quilters for this quilter's retreat. The larger your group, the sooner you should book your spaces. Each quilter should send in a registration form and indicate the others in your party.
- Can I book the Quiltaway Weekend exclusively for my group?
- Yes, we can reserve the whole Quiltaway getaway weekend for a minimum of 10 and maximum of 12. Click on the Registration button and see Groups and Guilds for more details.
- I have my own drink preferences; can I bring my own?
- Yes, there is a small refrigerator available for guests to use. Coffee, tea and ice water will be provided throughout the weekend retreat, but if you prefer your own drink you are welcome to bring it.
- Should I bring my own ironing board?
- No, we provide irons and ironing boards for all share.
- Should I bring my own rotary cutting supplies?
- It is not necessary to bring your own. We have plenty of cutters, rulers and mats available for all to share. You will love our counter height tables that we use for cutting stations.
- Do you have adequate lighting?
- Yes, we have given a lot of consideration to the lighting and it is more than adequate. You are welcome to bring your own personal light if you wish, but it is not necessary.
